About the doctor

Dr. McHenry is a licensed naturopathic physician. His practice employs the use of nutrition, herbs, supplements, homeopathy, and naturopathic physical medicine in the treatment of acute and chronic illness. He has special interests in the areas of neurodegenerative disease, cardiovascular disease, HIV/AIDS, mental health, and LGBTI health. He is also proficient in spinal manipulation. He is a member of the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association, the Association for the Advancement of Restorative Medicine, and the Tucson LGBT Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. McHenry grew up in southern Indiana and attended Indiana University Bloomington, where he received a B.S. in Neuroscience and a B.A. in Human Biology in 2011. He graduated from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona, in 2015. Throughout his education and career, he has been active in raising awareness of LGBTI-specific health issues within the medical community and advocates for an end to treatment disparities in minority communities.

In his leisure time, he enjoys swimming, tennis, reading, and hiking with his Great Dane, Jax.
